Its no use denying it any longer the party season is due to commence. If you have a special party coming up and want something sustainable without breaking the bank, then checkout Reformation. It is a US online store but the good news is they offer free international shipping (please check for Tax and Duties)
Their strap line is ‘We make killer clothes, that don’t kill the environment.’ In other words they use sustainable practises where ever possible. In fact for each product shown on their site they also declare the environmental footprint and how it compares to industry standards. They don’t declare to be perfectly sustainable but at least it provides the buyer with the true cost of fashion.
All good stuff but more about the clothes. Weddings and party wear do seem to be their speciality although they also have a good selection of on trend outerwear including faux fur, velvet and animal print.
My party wear picks:
Pink Silk Ainsley Jumpsuit
Garnet Velvet Gemma Dress
Emerald Green Aria Dress
Grey Velvet Farrah Top
Cherry Red Sorrenti Pant
Before anyone comments, I am completely aware that these dresses are going to look great on a small bust. Indeed many of the dresses do have a ‘Studio 54’ appeal that requires a certain shape to carry them off. But, I do think Reformation is one to watch.
If you are in London between now and December they do have a pop up shop on Monmouth Street. You can try things on and order immediatley with free postage, taxes and duties.
