For those of you that are regular readers of my blog and Facebook page, you will know that I love COS Stores!
So, on returning from my New Zealand adventure, to find that COS had opened a store in the Quakers Friars shopping area of Bristol, lifted my post holiday blues no end. Up until now I have had to make do with online or the Kings Road store on my London visits. I actually think the Bristol store is better, for starters it has menswear, the tailoring of which is fantastic!. In addition the store is well laid out, has a good selection of stock and the staff are really helpful without that ‘in your face’ thing!
COS may not be on first glance to everybody’s taste, the cut of their clothing can appear Scandinavian and unstructured. However, carefully styled and tweaked with a tuck, a belt or rolling of a sleeve, the style is of grown-up, understated elegance. COS is particularly good for basics such as T shirts and cashmere, the quality is spot on. If you are looking to spoil yourself with some silk pyjama’s, I totally fell in love with the navy piped ones they currently have in store. Every time I visit I come away with a piece of jewellery. The shapes are so simple an wearable. Without fail I am complemented at each wear and has even been mistaken for Tiffany, not bad for a £17 purchase!
Without a doubt, COS is a great addition to Bristol shopping!
